Credit Hire Claims Handler

Further exciting opportunities to join Blagrove Underwriting as business continues to grow; we are looking to recruit additional credit hire claims handlers to deal with all aspects of motor claims, in particular credit hire claims and litigated credit hire claims, up to an individual handling authority, in accordance with company procedures and Legal Regulations and Protocols, ensuring claims are managed to successful conclusion. The role will involve the investigation, negotiation and settlement of claims, whilst ensuring potentially fraudulent claims are identified.

Duties will include:

• proactively dealing with cases
• ensuring reserves are appropriately amended
• maintaining a regular review of inactive cases
• maintaining effective working relationships
• have a sound understanding of motor claims processes, with a particular interest in and knowledge of credit hire claims
• be adaptable and a good team player with the ability to communicate effectively
• have experience of handling some potentially fraudulent claims and / or personal injury claims and / or some involvement in the MoJ process would be a benefit.
• Good time management and organisational skills
• confidence in handling telephone queries, negotiating best possible settlements and the ability to make sound decisions are essential

Salary : £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
