Equans is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in The University of Cambridge, Cambridge on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will be providing all-round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. Have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings,and complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice. The Multi skilled engineers are to work alongside the lead multi skilled engineer and are responsible for ensuring that all activities within the building are undertaken with a professional and conscientious outlook with regards to the quality of work and Health & Safety, maintaining the % uptime criteria. To be familiar with and understand the site contingency plans for dealing with emergency situationsWith the diverse nature of our customers business and continued up time being a priority, means essential maintenance may need to be carried outside of normal hours and therefore a flexible approach to work is essentialTo carry out scheduled maintenance tasks, repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practiceTo ensure that the lead engineers are kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance and customers circumstancesThe shift rota is a 4 on 4 off days (-) of 12 hours shiftsTo assist in producing Method Statements and Risk AssessmentsTo report all incidents and accidents, including near misses to the Account Manager and log on the AIMS Portal What can we offer you?
