Spray / Plating Technician required for an eyewear manufacturer based in Brentford. The ideal candidate will have experience in spray painting and water plating.

Spray / Plating Technician Position Overview

Clean, sand, and mask eyewear components to prepare them for painting or plating. Ensure all surfaces are free from contaminants and defects prior to coating. Mix and apply paint coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment. Apply primers, base coats, and topcoats as required, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finishes. Maintain and operate spray booths, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Operate plating equipment to apply metallic coatings (e.g., gold, silver, nickel) to eyewear components. Monitor and adjust plating baths and solutions to ensure optimal conditions for coating. Inspect finished products for uniformity, thickness, and adherence to quality standards.
