  • Full time - Corporate Receptionist / Administrator :

  • Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week :

  • Salary £22,000 Per Annum :

  • Location - MMC, Belvedere, 12 Booth Street, Manchester, M2 4AW

Main duties

  • To ensure all guests receive an excellent welcome to Manchester and that you consistently deliver great service
  • Ensure consistent, high quality support is supplied to the business consistently
  • Use computer as an effective communication tool, inputting data as requested into excel and word documents
  • To ensure you are immaculately dressed in uniform and adhere to Client and Signature grooming standards.
  • To portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour at all times, using open and appropriate body language
  • To be articulate and well informed and to ensure that the needs of clients and visitors are pre-empted, met and exceeded
  • To be confident and able to communicate effectively with other departments within the building
  • To communicate effectively with other departments and neighbouring MMC sites
  • To communicate professionally and as a representative of MMC with residents of the building and MMC, providing a 5* level of service at all times
  • Embrace the vision of both Mitie and MMC
  • Ability to identify and escalate building maintenance issues/hazard perception and inform MMC Management when necessary
  • Process incoming and out-going post - Royal Mail / TNT / DHL / City Sprint in line with SOP
  • Follow agreed process for logging cheques
  • Stationary and stock consumable control
  • Raise PO's and process orders following iProcurement procedures
  • Provide procurement support for other offices when required
  • SHE Co-Ordinator for Manchester - maintain records
  • Carry out basis maintenance tasks
  • Liaise with engineering contractors whilst on site, ensuring Health & Safety is followed and correct work is carried out
  • Efficiently report and maintain, IT and H&S concerns to relevant departments
  • Resolve / report printer issues and maintain supplies
  • Carry out monthly PUWER, WPI inspections
  • Assist MMC Management team with any adhoc duties
  • Attend training as appropriate - on-line / in house & classroom / self-development
  • To handle any guest complaints and provide a swift solution or escalate as appropriate
  • To effectively deliver to all guests, Health and Safety and building information as necessary including evacuation procedure upon arrival
  • To be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of your allocated area ensuring adherence to the MMC Clear Desk Policy
  • To assist in any other reasonable duties as required by your colleagues, managers or clients
  • Support Marsh Safey Team
  • Uploading site document for all sites (i.e. RBI audits and reports / Workplace Inspections / PUWER Registers
  • Monitor MMC Health & Safety Inbox, picking up any DSE requirements and seeing each case through to delivery and installation - Following set procedures and processes
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure jobs are logged correctly and installed efficiently
  • Maintain employee confidence in MMC Health and Safety and support during the DSE process
  • Picking up any urgent priority cases and escalating as appropiate

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Immaculate personal presentation endorsing the Signature five star image
  • Proven experience and understanding of an exceptional Customer Service delivery
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Pro active, flexible and can-do attitude
  • The ability to handle complaints and difficult situations in a patient, calm and effective manner and escalate where appropriate
  • Ability to deal with multiple requests simultaneously
