Development is key within the RDaSH Executive Admin team, and we are now adding two trainee positions to our HQ team as part of our long-term commitment to career development and succession planning. We are looking for two enthusiastic trainee/apprentices to join us on a two-year contract, whilst undertaking the NVQ Business Administration Level 3 programme which will provide excellent training and experience for all administrative roles within the Trust. This two-year contract is a training position where the person undertaking the role will be expected to study for a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. Failure to keep up expected and assessed standards could result in the training position being terminated. This is a full- time role with time allocated to learning and training, working with our new Corporate Admin Support Team (CAST), providing a broad range of secretarial and administrative services to the senior corporate management team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with excellent communication, keyboard and MS Office skills. Main duties of the job To work as part of the Corporate Admin Support Team, providing secretarial and administration support to the PAs/EAs and administration support service to senior managers. Supervision, training, coaching and guidance will be given in all tasks until an acceptable level of competency and confidence has been achieved. Tasks/Activities could include: Support data input to data systems (Integra, ESR and Supply Chain) for the Corporate Exec team. Assist PAs to collate and coordinate information, generate reports and formal documents using appropriate software with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Core knowledge of reception duties and providing cover during absence of the full-time receptionist. Booking meetings and associated administration. Co-ordinate travel and booking arrangements. Expense management support. Organising meetings, conferences and events as required. Contribute to the regular Executive Admin Team meetings / planning process and undertake a proactive approach. Act as a role model for the executive admin office, a team player and ensuring professional standards and good communication. Promote the sharing of information, knowledge and expertise within Exec Admin and wider team as required guiding them to work in a more agile manner as required.
