Info ABOUT THE ROLE I am a young female wheelchair user and live with my family in Nuneaton, Stockingford. I rely on my parents and a small team of assistants to provide my personal care and to support me with day-to-day living activates. I love to be outdoors, I have my own transport but also love to use public transport, I rely on the people supporting me to become familiar with my forms of communication and support me in the community. The hours will be 12 hours to include one weekday 6 hours and one weekend day 6 hours no overnight stays shifts can be discussed at interview stage, Due to the nature of the role the client requires a female personal assistant to support with personal care including bathing and dressing, PEG feeding training is provided, administering medication, continence management, provide stimulation, hoisting to and from bed training provided, escorting me to and from social activities, Domestic support, to carry out any other duties or activates connected with the role. ABOUT YOU Patience, prepared to learn and understand my specific needs, be able to administer medication, A desire to maintain high standards of hygiene, driving license preferred but not essential, be able to work under instruction, be honest, reliable, and trustworthy, maintain confidentiality, to treat myself and home with respect, well organised, have excellent communication skills, be prepared to undergo training.
