Role : IT Help Desk Administrator

Pay : £13.17 per hour

Working Hours : Monday - Friday office hours

Contract : ASAP until end of September.

Location : Hybrid role. Work in Norwich City centre and from home

You may be required to travel as part of your duties. You will be responsible for your own travel arrangements and these must be carried out in the most effective and efficient way to perform your job

Tasks :

  • Manages incidents from logging through to resolution including diagnostics, analysis and investigation.
  • Monitors system and service performance and takes action to ensure achievement and maintenance of agreed levels of availability.
  • Installs or removes hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools including, where appropriate, handover to the client.
  • Conducts tests, corrects malfunctions, and documents results in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Investigates minor security breaches in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintains accurate records of user requests, contact details and outcomes.
  • Provides a customer service, including technical advice, eliciting information to understand problems, and provides learning activities/guidance to support the successful use of IT products and services.
  • Educated to NVQ3/HNC level in ICT
  • Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer and ICT support
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining documentation for business users and ICT staff on procedures and best practice
