Our Wednesbury based client have are looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a part time temporary ongoing basis. For the right candidate this could potentially develop into a permanent role.Duties include:Processing end to end payroll for 800+ employees weekly and monthly across various divisions of the business.Management reportingDealing with payroll queries from employeesProcessing various payroll requirements such as new starters and leavers, Sick entitlements, parental payments, attachment of earnings and any other payroll requirements.Calculation of holiday entitlements for starters and leavers.Pull of P32 reports for FD monthly to make payment for PAYE to HMRC.Dealing with queries from external providers i.e. DWP and local councils.Key Skills:Essential that you have previous payroll experience / Sage 50 payroll is essential.Have excellent IT skills including ExcelExcellent data entry skillsBe able to work in a confidential, methodical and organised way.Have understanding of ongoing legislative changes which affect payroll.Able to respond in a friendly and timely manner to payroll queries from staff, the wider finance team and other stakeholders.You will be flexible, hardworking and able to completed any other administration duties as and when requiredThis is working 3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday and one other – 9.00 – 5.00pm with 30 minutes lunch
