This service manages our client's blue and green assets, ensuring Enfield's parks, public spaces, and other land stocks are maintained to the highest standard. Following a recent service review, we've restructured our maintenance strategy to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Responsibilities:As a Grounds Supervisor, you will oversee one of the eight geographical areas, managing a diverse portfolio of maintenance programmes and projects. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and Support Teams: Lead front-line teams in grounds maintenance and landscaping, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and clear instructions for task completion. Digital Engagement: Utilise digital technologies for real-time reporting and task management, ensuring all scheduled works are completed efficiently. Quality Control: Conduct site inspections to maintain high service standards, forecast work, and reduce complaints. Performance Management: Monitor team performance, attendance, and behaviour, addressing issues promptly and conducting personal development reviews. Health and Safety: Implement and review health and safety controls, investigate incidents, and ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Public and Political Interaction: Manage public and political inquiries professionally, meeting with stakeholders as needed to resolve issues. Equipment and Inventory Management: Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained, defects reported, and consumables managed within budget.
