Health & Safety Administrator - WS15

Additional specific tasks maybe required as directed by the HR Manager and HS Manager

Administration of the health & safety management system including:

  • Dealing with telephone queries, directing calls to the appropriate person, taking messages or dealing with the enquiry in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining the compliance trackers for each department and where necessary scheduling statutory examinations of plant and equipment.
  • Recording and maintaining HAVS and asbestos exposure logs.
  • Maintaining health & safety training records for the organisation.
  • Co-ordinating the completion of occupational health assessments including display screen equipment, stress, medical assessments.
  • Conducting and recording basic safety inspections where required, for example, checking first aid kit content, weekly fire alarm and monthly emergency light flick tests.
  • Assisting in the documenting and reporting of near misses and accidents.
  • Minuting meetings where required.
  • Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time commensurate with the grade of the post.
  • Promote a positive culture of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Maintenance of ISO 9001,14001 & 45001 integrated Manual

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
