Production Operative

Immediate starts available in Runcorn working daytime shifts only On-going work. Acorn is looking for Production Operatives to work for their busy manufacturing client located on Astmoor Industrial Estate in Runcorn. These are on-going temporary positions which may lead to a permanent role after successful completion of all training on site. The company recognises the importance of people and is committed to the training and development of Operators which could include progression to permanent Operator, Technical Operator and Line Manager level roles. Job role will include:

• Line feeding

• Machine Operating

• Completion of paperwork

• Packing of the finished product

• Warehousing, picking and line feeding of production parts

• Hygiene duties

• Manual handling experience

• Health and safety awareness

• Good communication skills

• Hands on, can-do attitude

• Previous production experience Hours of work are a rotational day shift pattern, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. This is a 39 hour basic working week with all breaks paid.
