Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist (DAY SHIFT)Location: StroudWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 am - 03:45 pm, Friday early finish 07:00 am - 12:45 pmSalary: £28, - £33, DOEPurpose:Join our client's team and contribute your skills to efficiently set up and operate CNC machines. Your role is crucial in ensuring the timely production of high-quality products.Key Responsibilities:Prioritise safety, adhering to Health and Safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.Maintain quality standards by inspecting and cleaning parts, adhering to 5S principles.Set up machines using provided instructions and tools, ensuring accurate production.Follow work schedules and instructions from Production Supervisors for seamless operations.Record production hours accurately and report any non-productive time.Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to meet production targets.Conduct in-cycle inspections using precision tools and document findings.Provide feedback for improvement in CNC programs and setups.Collaborate with colleagues for efficient resource utilisation and shift handovers.Support apprenticeship programs and on-the-job learning initiatives.Promptly report non-conforming parts and assist in root cause analysis.Qualifications and Skills:Completed apprenticeship or equivalent experience in machining.Proficient in workshop practices and CNC machining.Familiarity with Duplex and Nickel Alloy Materials preferred.Strong numerical and literacy skills.Competent in MS Office applications and internet use.Overtime:Weekdays: 1.5 x basic hourly rateSaturday: 1.5 x basic hourly rateSunday: 2 x basic hourly rateBenefits:Free On site ParkingThree complimentary hot beverages dailyYearly entitlement to a Company UniformFree Eye Tests for eligible employeesAnnual Salary Review Holidays equivalent to 25 days plus Bank Holidays, convertible to hoursXmas shutdownPension Scheme (5% employee/7% employer)Life Assurance (3 x basic salary)Paycare Health Cash Plan, shareable with spouse/partnerEmployee Assistance Programme (Spectrum)Access to Independent Financial Advisors quarterlyPeer-to-Peer Nomination SchemeSickness & Absence support Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
