Job Details:Salary Range: £25,628- £28,326 per annum Work Location: /Hybrid WorkingHours per week: 37Contract Type: PermanentClosing Date: 2 June 2024The Role:As part of the Streetworks team you’ll help to deliver thel duties under the New Roads & Street Works act 1991 to regulate utility works in the East area of the County. You will inspect utility, third party and County Council works on the highway, as well as identify and resolve defects and work closely with contractors. You’ll also respond to queries from members of the public and other stakeholders, whilst supporting the local works Streetworks coordination and performance management team. Flexibility and the ability to manage a workload with minimal supervision are key. In addition, good customer care and communication skills are essential. You will also have the ability to fulfil the travel requirements of the role and, as required, be able to work out of hours to respond to weather and other emergencies.
