Sdu Lead Support and Cyp Administrator

Our multi-professional community paediatric team is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Administrator to our team. The post is to provide a comprehensive, confidential secretarial and administrative support service to our extremely busy SDU Leads and CYP service, to enable them to carry out their duties in an effective and efficient manner.

The team sits within the Community Children and Young People Services and is a multi-disciplinary team offering a comprehensive service to the children and families of Buckinghamshire. The team is embracing innovative working to offer the best possible care to the children we serve and what we need now to support full function is a great Administrator to keep us in check.

You must have the ability to produce efficient and accurate typing and will therefore have previous secretarial experience. You will have excellent keyboard and audio typing skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

The ability to prioritise your work and be highly organised is paramount to this post, as is excellent interpersonal communication skills, which includes a friendly manner, whilst also providing a professional, sensitive manner and maintaining confidentiality where appropriate.

To support the co-ordination of the administration arrangements to provide a high quality supportive secretarial service to the SDU Leads and CYP service. To work independently and be accountable for organising/prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are achieved.

The Team Administrator will work in collaboration with the clinical and non-clinical team members and will have responsibility for managing the administrative processes to support the function of the service and SDU Leads. This varies from diary management and distributing information to CYP teams to ordering clinical and non-clinical supplies.

As part of the role, you will work within dedicated speciality clinical area to facilitate the smooth running of the service by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the SDU Leads and CYP service.

This role may also cover operational management of Volunteers and ASQ Bookers.
