Garment Technologist – Mens, Ladies & Kids

Based BirminghamA leading streetwear brand that gains inspiration from the UK’s urban scene coupled with musical influences requires senior designers to join their design team.The brand has an increasing presence in the US & Europe and has recently successfully launched womens & Kidswear.The role: Working closely with the Designers and Directors to develop branded products which are fit for purposeAssist with measuring & sending comments on samples.Assist with the checking of submissions sent from the factories including lab dips, bulk fabric and print submissionsEnsuring that the products follow all safety standards and meet minimum requirements on testingWorking to a critical path to ensure that the development process is smooth and that the ex-factory dates are maintainedCommunicating with multiple factories to ensure the production process is on trackQC check production & feedback to factoriesGeneral day to day organisation is required, including organising samples, archiving old samples & creating/removing submission filesSupport with managing log of brand returnsThe role is based at head officeHolding fit sessions and advising on problems on fit This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join a fast growing streetwear brand.You’ll play a key role in developing the products from initial design stage all the way through to delivery.They are looking for an organised, self-motivator who can take ownership of their responsibilities whilst working closely with the rest of the design team.We regret that due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
