Job DescriptionDesign & Technology Teacher New Directions is currently recruiting for a number of D&T Teachers to work with our Secondary schools in the Newport area. This is a full time position, with an immediate start. There is also a strong possibility of the roles extending to the end of the academic year. These roles would also be an excellent opportunity for both Newly Qualified Teacher’s (NQT’s) as well as more experienced teachers. You will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching with the aim of helping students develop a broad base of skills through design, investigational and theoretical work to make objects that have a practical use, using a variety of techniques. The right candidate will also provide a creative and exciting learning environment whereby pupils are motivated and encouraged to show ambition, to maximise their potential, and to embrace all aspects of school life in order to develop a wide-ranging skill set.
