Job Summary We’re hiring for a Catering Support Worker... We’re looking for individuals with catering experience with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life! This inspiring and interesting role combines the opportunity to utilise and develop your catering experience with empowering people with a learning disability to reach their goal of achieving paid employment. The Hatch at Grimsbury Farm (in Kingswood, Bristol) offers employment training to people with learning disabilities who want a career in catering or hospitality The support you provide will be centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs, working a range of hours across 7 days. Health Cash Plan What we're looking for: Previous catering experience. Passion for hospitality. Great customer care skills. Great food service skills. Experience in food preparation. Experience in baking. Experience in food hygiene practices. Your responsibilities: Have good communication skills. Have a positive and patient approach. Be resilient and respect people’s differences. Able to build relationships based on trust, respect and consideration. A catering qualification or catering experience in a commercial / business setting. Experience of working in or running a small business is desirable. Understanding and knowledge of employment support and employment training for people with learning disabilities will be an advantage.
