Our 8 bedded critical care unit is part of a larger service model that includes critical care outreach services, acute pain and follow up clinic services. We support growth and education in the workforce through a Professional Development Nurse, and fund speciality specific courses. Our team can contribute to the wider organisation through education, support and opportunity.

We provide an induction programme for new starters inclusive of supernumerary time, and use the critical care national competency framework as assurance of your success. Being invested in our people, we are mindful of the health and well being of staff through our qualified Professional Nurse Advocates.

We are looking to employ a Band 6 Critical Care Outreach Practitioner to assist our Outreach Service.

We are part of the Cardiac Arrest call out and attend critical events. We also participate int he deteriorating patient forum, west midlands network and sepsis education
