Teacher of Drama Location : Daventry Position : Full time Permanent Start : September 2024 Pay : £30,000, £46,500PA Our Secondary School in Daventry holds a fantastic reputation for both staff and pupils alike. Your Expertise and enthusiasm should inspire a love for performing arts, allowing students to express their creativity, build confidence and develop valuable life skills. By delivering engaging and interactive lessons, you will be encouraged to use a variety of teaching methods, practical activities, and performance opportunities to inspire students in this subject.  ECT are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the national curriculum. Encourage students to develop their acting skills, express themselves confidently, and explore their artistic potential. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and a passion for drama. Support students in their preparation for performances, auditions, and exams, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant experience teaching Drama at secondary level. A passion for drama education and a strong understanding of the national curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Experience in directing and organising school productions would be advantageous.
