Primary Purpose of Position : The key purpose of a Merlin Estimating Assistant is to support and ensure the smooth running of the estimating department, ensuring live projects are prioritised and quoted within 24 hours, and to make sure all tasks are followed through to completion.

Is this you? You are accurate, quick, organised and tidy - everything with a home and everything in its home. You’re confident, courteous, and engaging on the phone. You’ll be speaking to customers to assist with questions they have about quotations you’ve prepared You’re comfortable dropping onto urgent tasks at a moments notice (we pride ourselves on being very reactive to customer requirements.) You have a good knowledge of estimating When things are hectic, you’re calm and efficient. You’re the sort of person who sees how things can be improved. You’re always looking to do things better. You take a pride in yourself and in all you undertake; you have high standards.

Responsibilities :

• Preparing & sending live quotations
• Preparing schedules on our scheduling system
• Printing quote requests & entering them into the quotes file
• Arranging samples & data sheets for customers
• Filing quotes
• Assisting in making the department paperless!

Salary : £30,000.00 per year
