Job Title: Assistant Demand Planner Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire (hybrid) Salary: £30,000 - 35,000
The Advocate Group is proud to be partnering with a global apparel and footwear brand in the premium outdoor and lifestyle sector.
Our client is a leading brand, renowned for premium quality products, loved by consumers and athletes all over the world. We are leading the search for a driven and motivated individual, with strong experience in Merchandising and Forecasting, to join a collaborative Demand Planning team.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for efficient and timely intake of stock into business SAP set up and management Ensuring system accuracy for future PO dates Proactively report and communicate product intake and delays into business Liaise with 3PL to ensure efficient booking and receipting of stock Support the Demand Planning managers to ensure all Footwear, Apparel/ Accessory purchase orders are placed with the US team in agreed timeframes. Maintain forecasting documents as required Create regular reporting to provide insight to the business. Progress own development, maximising on the job training opportunities to understand beginning to end product process. Push to own designated parts of product range. Participate in calls and build relationships with appropriate US planning partners
Your Profile: Strong use of Excel and Microsoft office (essential) Use of SAP (desirable) Experience manipulating large data sets Exceptional organisational and time management skills Analytical and Presentation skills Customer Service skills Proven experience in Retail in similar environment Experience in wholesale and e-commerce (desirable) Experience in Footwear and Apparel (desirable) Relevant degree preferred
