Paralegal Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Private Client Paralegal to join a successful law firm working in the commercial property department based in Salisbury. This is a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities for a Paralegal: - Undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department - Attend to clients to take instructions and advising on the most appropriate course of action to meet client's needs - Take appropriate action in executing clients' instructions in a timely manner - Assist in the build-up of the client database and marketing the firm's services - Maintain up-to-date files, including electronically and complying with the firm's policies on file management and regulations set by the firm - Complete time recording and other management records - Cross-referring work and clients - Ensure compliance is completed and manage financial control, e.g., cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures - Assist with other duties required by the company Requirements: - Must have 3- 5 years' PQE as a Solicitor/ Legal Executive/ Paralegal - Private client experience in Wills, Trusts, Lasting Power of Attorney and Trust Estate Administration and Court of Protection Applications - Able to prioritise work and work to strict timescales - Experience using case management systems - Competent computer skills and must be technically minded due to using a variety of systems - Full clean UK driving licence due to visiting clients A bit more information: - Monday to Friday 9:00am - 17:15pm - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - Salary is negotiable, depending on experience
